Medical Weight Reduction
Safe, effective and fast weight loss! And we'll teach you how to stay that way!!!
Our medically managed weight reduction and maintenance program is in the early days of trial in Australia, but has been very successful in U.S.A. with the latest release of data from trials there showing overwhelmingly excellent results from all who participate.
The Weight Management for Life program is principally designed to help people who need to loose 10kg or more of body fat. However, this does not exclude people wishing to loose 5kg or more and are finding it difficult to do so. The ideal aim of the program is to assist participants to lose 10kg or more in the first 6 - 8 weeks, then if necessary a further 10kg in the next 8 weeks.
The program has 6 main elements:
- Eating Low GI foods for the rest of your life (with calorie restriction for the first 6 - 12 weeks). We encourage our clients on this program to only eat food with a GI of 50 or less. We teach you everything you need to know. We show you how eating Low GI can be easy, and we give you recipe ideas to help get you started. We hope that you will pass this on to your partners and your children so that a new generation will break Obesity trends and the health complications of Obesity.
- Nutraceuticals: These are special highly concentrated chemicals found in food essential for metabolic reactions in the cells of the body.
- Appetite Control with specially designed medication. Appetite suppressants are not prescribed as it is well known that rebound weight gain following cessation of these medications will lead to large weight gain.
- Daily injections: Natural human hormone injections. These help the body release fat from fat cells for use as energy and also help to control appetite. Alone, these injections will achieve no weight loss and it is important to accept that every element of the program must be adhered to and maintained for success. These injections are particularly successful for assistance with loss of 'visceral' or inside fat.
- Hormonal balancing: those people who, at their first consultation have signs and symptoms of possible hormonal imbalance or are particularly interested in this element of the program will be offered the opportunity to undergo investigations and treatment for hormonal balancing with biologically identical human hormones.
- Exercise: 30 minutes of walking, including walking stairs during the day and just moderate exercise three times per week. Walking, swimming, rowing, bike riding, jogging and tennis are all good examples of accepted levels of exercise.
